Angel Fire Ski Resort: New Mexico's Finest

Angel Fire ski resort is nestled in the wonderful state of New Mexico and offers a great variety of fantastic features. There are 70 trails for skiers to enjoy and seven lifts to get you there. The majority of the trails are for intermediate skiers, but there are also plenty for beginners and advanced skiers as well. In addition to freestyle skiing, you'll find four acres of glade skiing, the perfect way to view the splendor of the natural environment and get some exercise doing it. And, there's even fun cross-country Nordic skiing.
There's more than just skiing at Angel Fire, however. For snowboarders, there are two choices of terrain parks: Lowrider Park and Liberation Park. Lowrider Park is designed for beginners and intermediate snowboarders, while Liberation Park is perfect for advanced and expert snowboarders. If you've never been on skis or a snowboard but want to learn, this resort has a fantastic Ski and Snowboard School which provides instruction to people of all ages. Are you looking for a winter activity that's thrilling yet requires no skill? Then you should definitely try snow tubing at the Polar Coaster! While there's plenty for kids to do at Angel Fire, sometimes adults want to head out on their own for awhile. If this applies to you, then you'll love the fantastic day care center which provides kids of all ages with stimulating and fun activities in a safe environment.
When you're ready to take a rest from the slopes, Angel Fire offers some of the best dining establishments, lounges and bars. If you stay at the Angel Fire Resort Hotel, you'll definitely want to head to the Branding Iron, a perfect place for a great breakfast. On the mountain, there are establishments like Village Haus, which feature favorites like pizza and chili as well as great cocktails. One of the hottest night spots at Angel Fire is the Lazy Lizard Cantina. At Lazy Lizard, there's big screen televisions, pool tables, live music and lots of different kinds of beer and mixed drinks for patrons to enjoy. If you'd rather have a caffeine rush, check out the aptly named Buzz cafe, a full service coffeehouse situated by Charlift 2.
